Closet Confessions #8 Lovelies!!! Welcome to another installment of my Closet Confessions series!!! Today's post features a part of my closet that I don't sport often (; but a part that I am proud of: my athletic wear. My favorite thing about athletic wear is that it's both comfy and sexy. There's something effortlessly attractive about it!!! When I have a day off like I did a few days ago, and I have errands to run, I like to throw on a cute pair of leggings, a crop top or fitted tank, an athletic piece of outerwear, and my black Nikes. My favorite pieces of athletic outerwear are from T.J. Maxx as they have so many great high end brands at great prices. That sounded like it was copied and pasted from a commercial, but it wasn't!! The jacket below is by 90 Degree By Reflex and was originally around $140, but I got it for around $30. It is probably my favorite jacket in my entire closet, and I wear it with sports gear as well as skinny jeans and stilettos because it's so versatile. I have a serious crush on athleisure which is why I love wearing Converse with dressy lace rompers and mixing my workout leggings with Nine West boots and Steve Madden pumps. To go along with my chill aesthetic, I twisted my hair back/up with a few bobby pins and went out with no makeup. It was fabulous. I love wearing athletic wear out as I can do a quick workout before running errands and I don't have to worry about changing as I can just freshen up and do a thorough cleanse when I get back in. Thank you lovelies!! Do you like athletic wear? What are your favorite ways to dress casual, comfy, and cute?

Closet Confessions #7 LOVELIES, welcome to another installment of my Closet Confessions series!!! I just want to say that a new post (most likely) will not be going up tomorrow. Never fear as I am enjoying this constant posting, and I'm going to do my best to stay at it!! I am IN LOVE with this blue dress I got from Altar'd State. It was pretty expensive (btwn $70-80), but when I put it on, I felt like a princess. I had to get it. It's super comfy and gorgeous, and it has a phenomenal lace back that I forgot to photograph for you guys--I probably will show it again in some other post, so stay tuned. I also have a smaller bust, so the semi-thick fabric gives me the coverage that I desire to where I don't have to wear a bra with it. It's also cute enough to dress up with pumps (as I did for a night on the town with my mom and cousin), and easy enough to dress down with my white Converse for a fun trip out of town to eat lunch in a park, peruse some shops, and go to the bookstore, which I did the other day. I love this dress so much that I jumped for joy! Thank you lovelies!!! I hope you enjoyed this post and that it sparked some style inspo in you.

Lovelies, this Closet Confessions post features a look that includes some of my favorite pieces combined in a way that I didn't know was possible. I wore this particular look to work the other day, and the power of mixing and matching resulted in its birth.
The blazer and dress pants in this post are both from Old Navy, but they did not come as a set; I made them one. I love this set because it's such a classic staple and with switching the top to separating the jacket and pants with other blouses, dresses, etc., it looks new every time.
The shoes are BCBGeneration that I bought at DSW, and they are so so so comfy. The style is Savinah-X, and they go with everything.
The top is from Belk (Juniors), and the neck tie came with another top I got from Belk (Juniors), but it was a waist tie for the other shirt. I love using it as a neck tie as it's SO DANG CUTE, and this particular top came with one of those clip on necklaces, so I just looped the waist tie from my other top through the necklace loops of this top after removing the necklace. You can mix and match accessories between garments.
As mentioned in a previous post, I can wear white, black, and/or gray to work. This top is white, but it's an interesting white. What I'm trying to say is it's not snow white, but pairing it with a dark counterpart such as black makes it look really white. Dark colors can complement brighter colors to make them pop.
This ring is just a cute little piece I picked up at a shop in my hometown for about $12.
Below is my MOTD for this look!
Despite what I put on my Instagram and YouTube channel, my favorite makeup looks are really natural and just highlight my natural features.
I am loving this lip color by Kylie Cosmetics!!! It's 'Maliboo', and I've rarely worn it.
The rest of the products I used for this look:
Thank you lovelies!!!
Would you like to see more MOTD (makeup of the day) and OOTD (outfit of the day) posts combined? R'Nelle CyRe' XX Closet Confessions #5 LOVELIES!!! Welcome back to my Closet Confessions series!!! Today's post is about an easy glam look that I wore to work last week that made me feel like a pretty princess. Let's get into it. Sometimes the dressiest looks are the most comfortable, so if you're looking for comfort, try dressy!! This comfy swing sleeve top is from T.J. Maxx, and it was $10. The skirt is from Charlotte Russe and was on sale for $13. These adorable sandals that seem to have 100 twin sisters floating around in the fashion world were around $70/$80, but they are Steve Madden's, and I got them on sale at Nordstrom Rack. This look is sophisticated enough for work (at least in the fashion world where I work and live), and is cute and flirty enough for a day out with girls, a date, or even a solo outing. This look makes me so happy! Thank you lovelies for stopping by! Will there be a new post tomorrow?
I guess we'll just have to wait and see! R'Nelle CyRe' XX Confessions de placard: Petite Combinaison Rouge (Closet Confessions: Little Red Jumpsuit)8/15/2017 Closet Confessions #4 Hi everyone!!! As mentioned in my previous post, my mom came to visit last week, and I wanted to look super fly while she was in town. A night or two before her arrival, my sister and I were hanging out and stopped by Ross. Mind you, I never shop at Ross, not because I have anything against Ross, but I am just so hooked on T.J. Maxx. My sister on the other hand, loves Ross, which is why we ended up there. After endless browsing and trying on some cute, yet slightly destroyed garments and ill fitting pieces (as cup inserts are often too big when you have a smaller bust (still sad over the LBD I had to leave as the cups were too big *cries softly*), I finally stumbled upon something just for me. Th irony of it all is that of the 10 or so items I bought into the dressing room, the one I left with is the one I thought I'd like least; and it ended up being not only the one I liked most but loved. This burgundy red jumpsuit costed me less than $6 as it was on sale for $8 and some change, and I had $3 and some change on a Visa gift card, and I payed the rest with cash. It is so so comfy, cute, and ladylike with the right amount of sensuality. I love it.
For deets on the shoes, check out this post. Thank you lovelies, Are you into jumpsuits? R'Nelle CyRe' XX Confessions de placard: Glamour Facile des Affaires (Closet Confessions: Easy Business Glam)8/14/2017 Closet Confessions #3 Last Sunday, my mom came up to ATL to visit me and my sister. I was headed to work before she arrived, so I wanted to look super glam when I got off work to see her. My sister was so sweet to bring her by, so I got to spend a few minutes with her and show her around. One of my favorite pairings in my closet is composed of a white blazer and white slacks that costed me no more than $65. Even more shocking? I bought this suit from Forever 21. Now, I want to start by saying I know a lot of people love Forever 21, and there's a lot of people that hate Forever 21. Forever 21 also has a reputation for trendy and cheap clothing. As a Forever 21 customer, I can attest to this, but this suit does not follow any of the typical F21 stereotypes. I bought the jacket and pants separately as they had more fitted and loose corresponding jackets and pants in the same color for personal preference. I bought this suit a few months ago before I knew I was moving to ATL, had a job, etc., but I knew it would be of great use to me in the future. I just so happened to wear it to my interview of my current job, and it's part of what helped me stand out. I have a job in the fashion world, so the corporate standard of black/navy suiting was not something I had to abide by. Plus, wearing what's traditional all the time can be a bit boring, and wearing something more rare or off the charts can open doors you'd never imagine. Another favorite thing of mine about this suit is that it is so versatile. The jacket and pants can be mixed and matched as well as the top. I wore a crimson/burgundy red crop top with the suit for my interview as it tucks perfectly in the high waisted pants, and I wore this black crop with it last Sunday as it tucks perfectly as well--I always wear these pants with tucked in crop tops as tank tops tend to be a little too bulky as the pants hug my hips and butt, but the crops provide just enough fabric to be tucked in and stay in with no extra fabric bunching up. The crop tops I use are by a brand called Prime Cut, and I bought mine from T.J. Maxx.
Thank you so much lovelies for tuning in, What has been your favorite part of this closet series so far? R'Nelle CyRe' XX WELCOME BACK to the 2nd installment of my Closet Confessions series!!! Today's post is all about a gorgeous pair of snow white boots that I teased in an OOTD post on Instagram and mentioned I'd let you all know where I got them from in an upcoming post--peep these babies below. So as I mentioned recently, I got a new job. I absolutely adore my job, and the colors we can wear are white, black, and/or gray in some form of dressy and presentable attire. These colors are already staples in my closet, so I was thrilled to get this info as it allowed/is allowing me to hone in on my style with these specific colors and really work my mixing and matching magic. That being said, I own a lot of white, black, and grey, but I've been adding a new piece here and there to spice things up. Although my style color palette is mostly simple, I still like a little something extra and flamboyant to really tie things together, and these white boots that hit right below mid-calf are exactly the type of flare that I look for. I bought these babes from T.J. Maxx, and they are by a brand named MIA. Because I love you guys so much, I found there website for you which you can access here. They originally retailed for about $40-$50, but I got them for around $25. These boots are so comfortable with nice insole cushioning, so stunning, so sexy, and just incredible. I tried them on and I just could not leave them. I wore these to work for the first time a week or so ago, and it was like every human walking this planet I encountered was in love with these boots! I had never received so many compliments in a day. It was pretty incredible, and it's exciting to see others getting into fashion especially when it isn't mainstream. Below are my OOTD photos featuring my go-go-esque boots. Thank you so much lovelies for tuning into today's post!! I hope you enjoyed it, and please stay tuned for more exclusives here & on December & Rose.
Stay fab. R'Nelle CyRe' XX LOVELIESS, as stated on a recent post on Instagram, I will be starting a new blog series!!! It's called Closet Confessions, and the goal is to show y'all everything in my closet (and drawers). Basically, I want to get back into my fashion posts a little more, and what better way to do that then to show you the heart of my style? So to kick things off, I thought we'd start with an article that isn't old or new, but makes me feel soo calm, cozy, and subtly sexy whenever I'm in it: my blue sweater. I'm 99% sure I bought this blue baby last year, and it's from H&M. I walked into H&M one cold day with my mom, and this sweater was the first thing to catch my eye when I walked in. Blue is my favorite color, but rarely wear it because it's hard for me to find blues that I like on me. I also wanted a warm slouchy sweater that I could feel super cozy in and doll it up with a little skirt, tights, and pumps and be able to come back in, strip all that off and bundle up in my sweater with some cocoa and a movie. This sweater is THE perfect sweater for that. It's this gorgeous cloudy blue and it's baggy in all the right places. If you've been following me on Instagram for a while or even my blog, then I know you've had to have seen it at least once. When I'm happy I grab this sweater. When I'm sad I grab this sweater. When it's winter I've got on this sweater. When it's summer I've got on this sweater. It's one of my favorite pieces in my closet, and I am so glad I have it! What you guys will learn along this series is that everything in my closet has a place. When I make purchases, I am very careful with what I select as it has to speak to me and make me feel incredible. It also (preferably) needs to be something I haven't seen around. I was playing with a new smokey eye look and eyeliner while taking these photos, so the only thing on my face is eyeshadow and eyeliner. Isn't she perfect? Thank you guys so so much for stopping by and checking out the first installment of my Closet Confessions. I hope you enjoyed and will be back for more!
