I love nail polish. I always have. I've written about it in the past, and I am a firm believer in nail polish as an accessory for enhancing any look. A while ago, I bought a gorgeous pair of red Liz Claiborne heels. They were cute when I tried them on, but they were hot when I painted my toe nails red to match as they are peep toed. Even a simple pedicure can enhance something as simple as a pair of flip flops.
Below is my collection of nail polishes. They're all scattered about because I took some time to give myself a manicure today. When picking out nail polishes, it's important to keep your options open. Expensive brands like Zoya and Essie are awesome, but L.A. Colors and Elf work just as well. One of my favorite brands is Sinful Colors. I love having a variety of brands because it allows me to sample and discover my favorites.
In school, I was often known for my hand sanitizer. The burst of coconut lime or cupcake sprinkle at lunch was always me, and I liked being known for it. Though hand sanitizer is not the best sanitary option, I like it as it is a good on the go cleaner for handshakes and snack eating. It's also cute to match with my outfits or give them a type of theme: In the summer, I stick to mostly tropical scents to match bright colors and patterns. In the winter, I stick to warm scents such as apple ciders and vanilla for a cozy feel. When I choose my hand sanitizers, I think of myself, but I also think of others.
I recently started wearing Caring Coconut by Dove. It's more natural than the usual selections, it lasts up to 24 hours, and it smells soo good. I love it. It's light and soft, and it doesn't rub on my clothes like other brands or homemade deodorants.
Thank you lovelies,
Have a beautiful week.
