A few years ago, I went to The Avenues Mall in Florida, stepped in Forever 21, and left in under five minutes because I saw nothing that interested me. I was in middle school at the time and not as advanced in my style as I am now, which is why I gave them another chance last weekend. Before I began piling item after item into the shopping bag at the top right corner of each page, I did a quick scan of the site. Not only was I thoroughly impressed by the high quality photos that reminded me of Zara, but I was drawn in by a dainty little box at the checkout page that offered a full year of Glamour Magazine free with a $25 purchase or more. Since I do love a good deal, and I am willing to squeeze $25 out of my wallet for a treasure such as a full year free of Glamour, I went through the joys and toils of constructing the ideal shopping cart of a sufficient quantity of product that was at least $25, and I managed to get free shipping as well!
Unfortunately, I was informed after my order was complete that the free year of Glamour ended in August, despite the fact that the ad was, and still is on their checkout page as of today, and still has no mention anywhere on the offer that the offer is over. This resulted in a mini series of phone calls (over the course of three days) with customer service who refused to acknowledge their deceitfulness. I got so frustrated that I attempted to cancel my order, but I could not do that because it had already been shipped. This knocked Forever 21 down a few notches for me, but I calmed myself down, got over my anger and anticipated my carefully selected finds with zeal.
My order came in yesterday.
The total of my order with tax was $27.11, and I received six items. I got free shipping because the most expensive item in my bag was an add-on item for free shipping, and that piece of simplicity and beauty is below.
This Faux Leather Crossbody clutch is 10x6 inches, and the price is $10.90. It is not on sale, but completely worth the price. The description on the site says that this bag is pink, although I perceive it to be more of a pale blush tone. It is more beautiful in person, and the quality is quite nice--the stitches are even and sturdy, and the straps are secure as well.
Thank you lovelies, have an amazing week!
