H&M is in the first few pages. H&M is high fashion.
Attention: StyleWatch has a limited edition collection with Charming Charlie. Do that thing. (Shop some of the goodies below!)
Style inspo from Blake Lively look = 100%. Very pretty pink; the palette challenges fall, but challenge is good.
Love the Editors Note. We are all beautiful, and once we learn to love ourselves, others will too.
I’m over the lace-up trend. I am beyond over it.
Um, I brought back the Letterman jacket a year ago. Here’s my proof.
Oxblood: it sounds so disgusting, but it’s such a wonderful shade.
Velvet: it’s been in since last fall, and I’m still feeling it.
I’m very interested to try Rothy’s recycled flats. Sumwalt says they’re comfy but can they be worn all day at work? For $145, I’m not willing to take that plunge. However, if you are or you already own a pair of Rothy’s, let me know how you like them.
Don’t sleep on Ecotools despite the fact that they’re put in the ‘#basicbrushes‘ section of this issue. Ecotools is one of the best brush brands out there. And they sell them at Whole Foods. Whole Foods is the bomb.
Sweet, bright, sharp, and elegant is the new Olympea Paco Rabanne perfume.
*casually waits for a Revlon ad because Revlon is my favorite*
Please don’t rely on makeup to make you feel beautiful—you’ll never be completely sold on your own beauty if you do.
Want better skin? Don’t wear makeup every day, clean your brushes at least once a week, eat your fruits and veggies (lots of them), drink water, cut out soda, and wash your face. How much did that cost? $0.
Don’t flash-buy. Invest. You’ll thank yourself in the long run.
Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for part 2/5 of the September Issues.
See you then.
