One of the things that comes with adulthood (unless you're mega rich with no self-control) is budgeting. To make the most of my money at all times so that I have enough for both pleasure and necessity, I created a budget. That budget does not include a beauty section, but it does include a small miscellaneous section, a small essentials section, and a new section for subscriptions. I am currently subscribed to the Lifetime Movie Club, Google Play Music, and now two beauty subscriptions to allow me to get a nice selection of beauty products each month without breaking the bank with trying new products individually on my own. Those subscriptions include ipsy (as mentioned in my previous post) and Julep!
Also, they have a four day window at the end of each month for you to customize your box if you desire--you get to choose everything that goes in it, and they also have discounts for add ons. During the 4 day window, you can change your choices as often as you please. If you missed the window (meaning you subscribed after it) like I did at the end of last month, they skip the coming month's box for you and credit your account so you can customize your box for the month after. That being said, I subscribed at the end of last month, but I just customized my box during the window this month, so my first box will come next month. They ship the free polishes immediately, so you'll get them before your first box.
The color below is a 'sheer' (labeled on the bottle), and is the shade 'Lori'. Btw, Julep polishes are 5-free and vegan which are better for anyone's overall health and better to use especially if you're pregnant as what you put in your body (for example chemicals from harmful nail polishes seeping into your nails) can affect your baby.
Thank you lovelies,
I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you did, please feel free to share with your friends. Let me know if you're currently a Julep Maven or are going to become one!
