Sometimes I like to create outfits from my wardrobe even if I'm not planning to go anywhere. I like to have outfits on file. While crawling through my armoire a couple of days ago, I pulled out a black and white dress that I got at C&A in when I was in Switzerland. I wore this dress only once (on my 17th birthday), and it is truly a treasure as well as an essential to my array of clothes. I waltzed over to my scarf basket, pulled out a scarf decorated with dogs that my mom gave me years back, and I picked out my very first pair of stilettos. The next morning, I tied my hair back with the scarf, slid into my arrangement that I picked out the day before, and added a few accessories. I call this look, Vintage Meets Modern.
I left the top of my hair elevated to give my look that 'old-timey' vibe. If your hair isn't naturally big like mine, teasing it or adding a bump-it (are bump-its still a thing?) will do the trick.
What are your tips for enhancing one's style?
Thank you lovelies,
