I used to wear a 32AA and bought 3 push up bras from Pink/Victoria's Secret because they were on sale, and I thought I had to wear a bra because that's what society expected. They were the most uncomfortable garments I've ever worn, and the highlight of my day was getting home to unlock from my cage. The pain wasn't so much from the straps digging in but the underwire pushing up against my chest. It was agony! For a while, I ditched all bras/bralettes all together and wore tank tops under my looser tops for coverage. This was my method throughout my junior year of high school. It was the most comfortable thing ever, and no one (as far as I knew) was the wiser.
As mentioned earlier, I've gotten into bralettes as I like to wear them with certain tops for an enhanced look. If you are interested in a bralette that has molded cups (so you can have that bra-like look), has a little push (it's only a little so you still look like you), and is super affordable, then give this bralette a look. There aren't a ton of color options, but you can never go wrong with black. I have two, and they are the best alternative to traditional bras (in my opinion). They do everything a bra can do but without the underwire. Did I mention that these bralettes are super comfortable? The straps are adjustable, and they have a hook and eye closure as well. I do, however, recommend sizing up for this garment; my bra size, which is a 32A, is supposed to fit an XS, but I got both of mine in a size S, and they fit perfectly.
