Post 1: My Rainy Day Picks + A Rainy Day Style Guide
Yesterday was dark and stormy so I had to be a bit more conscious of my clothing choices especially since the temperature is gradually dropping by the day. For an effortlessly picked but mod outfit I grabbed my sky tank top with my personally customized Letterman jacket matched with my black jeggings. I usually wear my rain boots for this kind of weather, but I chose to brave my sky blue denim stilettos to take it all the way, and I'm glad I did! They are Mary Jane style, so they have a strap across the front which adds security. For extras I added one of my black headbands that I wear as a choker and my leopard rose gold watch.
Four winning outfits for rainy days:
1) a pair of jeans, a tank top, and a jacket that represents you in some way
2) a dress, rain boots, and leggings/stockings
3) a t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of boots: i.e. combat boots, cowgirl boots, ankle boots, etc.
4) a t-shirt or tank, jeans, and flats/cute sneakers or slip on sneakers

Homecoming Update! I stated in my homecoming dress post that I would be wearing a white pair of sandals with my dress, but there is a possibility of change. I recently got a glossy pair of dressy Madden Girl pumps (below) that look lovely with my dress (they look like two different shoes because I took the pictures in different lighting). The shoes that I decide to wear that night will be dependent on how I'm feeling as well as my plans, but these are on my list of choices! Check 'em out!
